MailMarshal
SMTP scans the subjects and contents of email text and attachments
according to "text censor" rules you can configure.
This is a central function of MailMarshal and has many uses.
Organisations typically scan their incoming
email for text related to chain letters, "Spam"
and known virus hoaxes. Outgoing email may be scanned for
text related to proprietary information and potential liability
issues.
MailMarshal SMTP ships with many pre-configured
text censor rules to cover common issues. You can easily
activate these rules, modify them, or create your own.
Messages which trigger the censor rules
may be refused, returned, deleted, or forwarded to an administrator.
Messages may be passed to external programs or automatically
responded to.
MailMarshal SMTP may also be configured
to pass messages to an Anti-Virus program for scanning.
